Stella Parton
Always Tomorrow Airborne (unreleased) 1989
|
Notes: This album was recorded in 1988 and 1989 for Airborne Records. One of the tracks was released as a single in 1988, ("I Don't Miss You Like I Used To") but the album was never released. Stella would eventually release the album in the early 2000s on CD through her website, and later as a digital download on all digital music platforms.
Notes from Stella's website: "This is a CD I recorded for another label that went bankrupt before I got the album finished. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Anyway, I thought it was a good album. We had some good songs, great pickers and Steve Messer engineered and helped me produce. We had a lot of fun and high expectations of getting my recording career back on track. I was lucky enough to secure these masters on a trip to the Midem Music Festival from a record company that had licensed them from my bankrupt record company. Again, they came back home to me just like lost children. I recorded this project at LSI Studios in Nashville." — Stella Parton (May 10, 2008)
