Dolly's RIAA award for 100 million records sold worldwide hangs in the Chasing Rainbows museum at Dollywood.
With claimed sales of over 100 million records worldwide, Dolly is one of the best-selling country artists of all-time. This page documents all of Dolly's record certifications from around the world. Over the last 60 years, certification systems have been periodically established around the world. Many countries did not establish certification systems until the late 1970s or early 1980s, meaning that many of Dolly's early sales are not accounted for. Also to be taken into consideration are the many albums and singles Dolly has released which have not reached the sales threshold to be certified, which varies from country to country. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Dolly a plaque in 2014 for worldwide sales of 100 million records, showing that they support Dolly's claimed sales figure. They awarded Dolly a plaque in 2022 for 3 billion streams. Dolly currently stands at 37,465,000 certified units worldwide.
