The Wiggles released the first of two collaborations with Dolly on February 20, 2025. "Friends!" is the fourth single release from their Wiggle Up, Giddy Up! album. The song was written by Dolly and produced by Keller. Dolly originally recorded the song for the 2015 version of her children's album, I Believe in You. When the album's commercial release was delayed until 2017, "Friends" did not make the final track listing. The album also features another collaboration with Dolly titled "We Will Always Be Friends", another outtake from the original 2015 version of I Believe in You. Check out the song's video below (which does not feature Dolly) and the credits for the track. Credits are adapted from Apple Music.
Sabrina Carpenter released the deluxe version of her Short 'n' Sweet album on Friday, February 14, including a new version of her Billboard Hot 100 number one hit "Please, Please, Please" featuring Dolly! The new version has a decidedly more acoustic and country style production than the original. The harmonies in the chorus add an almost bluegrass element to the song. Dolly's vocals throughout the song compliment Sabrina's very well. It would be amazing to see this get some country radio action and maybe even chart on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart! The tune was written by Carpenter with Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen. It is available now from all digital retailers and streaming platforms. Listen below and check out the full production credits. A music video was released alongside the single. The Thelma and Louise inspired video shows Sabrina driving a pickup truck while Dolly rides shotgun. Toward the end of the video the cops catch up to them and we see a male body in the bed of the truck. The black and white video was directed by Sabrina Carpenter and Sean Price Williams.
