Comments

July 29, 2016: "Outside Your Door" is released as the second single from Dolly's forty-fifth solo studio album, Pure & Simple.

July 30, 2018: The compilation album 1927 Jubilee: The New Bristol Sessions is released to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the historic Bristol Sessions, which are considered by many historians to be the "big bang" of country music. Dolly contributed the track "Something More" to the project. The song had previously been used in Dolly's Lumberjack Adventure dinner attraction in Pigeon Forge.

July 30, 2021: Sabyn, Dolly's nephew and son of her brother Randy, released his debut extended play, Halfway There. Dolly is featured on "9 to 5 to 9" via a sample of her 1980 recording of "9 to 5".

July 31, 1972: "Together Always" is released as the second single from Porter Wagoner and Dolly's eighth collaborative studio album of the same name. The single peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

July 31, 1989: "Yellow Roses" is released as the second single from Dolly's thirty-ninth solo studio album, White Limozeen. The single peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

August 3, 1970: Porter Wagoner and Dolly's fifth collaborative studio album, Once More, is released. The album peaked at number seven on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

This was the only appearance of "Working Girl" on any chart, as it was listed as the flip-side of "House". "The House of the Rising Sun" would be listed singularly for the remainder of its chart run. It eventually peaked at number 14.

August 3, 1999: Alison Krauss released her Forget About It album. Dolly and Lyle Lovett are featured on "Dreaming My Deams with You". The album peaked at number five on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

August 3, 2016: "Wildflowers (Alternate Take 1986)" is released as the second single from Dolly, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt's The Complete Trio Collection compilation.
