"I Will Know" by Rachel Parton George and Dolly was released as the fifth single from Smoky Mountain DNA: Family, Faith and Fables on September 13, 2024, by Owepar Records. Rachel is the youngest of Dolly's 11 siblings. She co-wrote the song with Patricia Roberts in the 1980s and recorded an acoustic demo. This demo was overdubbed with new instrumentation and Dolly's vocals in 2023 at Historic Fireside Studios in Nashville. The track was produced by their cousin Richie Owens. The single's release was announced on September 10, 2024.
