Single cover. Owepar (digital single) (2026)
"Sing for the Common Man" is a single by Jada Star featuring Dolly Parton. It was released on January 9, 2026, by Owepar Records. The song was written by Jada's mother and Dolly's sister, Freida Parton, and Jada's father, Mark Andersen. Dolly originally recorded the song for her 1980 album, 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs, and it appeared on the B-side of the original "9 to 5" single. This re-recording features backing vocals from Jada's cousin and Dolly's niece, Rebecca Seaver, and Jada's longtime collaborator, Barry J. It was produced by Eric Rupert and Ollie Knight.
