Becky Isaacs Bowman on Friday, October 28, 2022, released her Songs That Pulled Me Through the Tough Times album. It features a duet with Dolly on a cover of Dolly's 1971 song "Early Morning Breeze". Dolly has previously recorded the song three times: on 1971's Coat of Many Colors album, 1974's Jolene album, and on the Walmart edition of the 2014 Blue Smoke album. Dolly has previously collaborated with Becky Isaacs Bowman's sister and fellow The Isaacs member, Sonya, on two songs: "Healing Hands" from Sonya Isaacs self-titled album in 2000 and "The Angels Rejoiced" from Livin’, Lovin’, Losin’: Songs of the Louvin Brothers in 2003. Both sisters provided harmony vocals on "Seven Bridges Road" and "Marry Me" from Dolly's Little Sparrow album (2001), background vocals on "Better Get to Livin'" from the Backwoods Barbie album (2008), "Just Leaving" and "Together You and I" from the Better Day album (2011), "Unlikely Angel" and "Don't Think Twice" from the Blue Smoke album (2014), and "Driven" from Run, Rose, Run (2022). Take a listen to the new duet below! Becky Isaacs Bowman's new album is available now on all digital music platforms and on CD from The Isaacs website here. |
