Dolly and Olivia Newton-John Duet on New Version of "Jolene"

The first single from Olivia Newton-John's posthumous album, Just the Two of Us: The Duets Collection, Volume One, was released today (February 17). The single is a duet with Dolly on her 1974 song "Jolene". Olivia previously recorded a solo version on her 1976 album, Come On Over. News first broke that Dolly and Olivia had recorded a song together back in October 2021, when Kelly Lang mentioned in her book, I'm Not Going Anywhere, that she had recorded a song for the upcoming album and noted that Dolly had also recorded with Olivia. The new recording marks Dolly's eighteenth officially released version of the song, including studio versions, live recordings, and remixes. The full album will be released on May 5, 2023.
