"Bluer Pastures" is a single by Dolly Parton. It was released simultaneously with "A Tender Lie" and "Seven Bridges Road" on April 2, 2001, by Sugar Hill Records and Blue Eye Records as one of the first three singles from Dolly's thirty-eighth solo studio album, Little Sparrow. "A Tender Lie" was sent to bluegrass radio stations. It was written by Dolly and produced by Steve Buckingham.
