It was released in November 2005 by Sugar Hill Records and Blue Eye Records as the second single from Dolly's forty-first solo studio album, Those Were the Days. It peaked at number one on the Indie World Country Independent Labels Singles chart. The song was written by Joni Mitchell and produced by Dolly. It was first recorded by Judy Collins for her 1967 album, Wildflowers. Collins' version peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.
