"God's Colouring Book" is a single by Margo O'Donnell and Dolly Parton. It was released in 1997 by Music Box Records. The song was written by Dolly and first recorded for her 1971 album, Coat of Many Colors (though this version would not be released until 2007) and again in 1977 for Here You Come Again. Margo's version would eventually be included on her 1998 album, The Highway of My Life: Shade of the Family Tree, on Tulip Records. It has been said online that the version on this single is a different mix than the version included on the album, but I don't have the single to compare with the album version.
