Radio promo CD. Sugar Hill / Blue Eye (SUG-CD-4007S12) (2005)
"Imagine" is a single by Dolly Parton with special guest David Foster. It was released exclusively to iTunes on September 27, 2005, by Sugar Hill Records and Blue Eye Records as the first single from Dolly's forty-first solo studio album, Those Were the Days. It was sent to country, bluegrass, and adult contemporary radio stations on November 7. The song was written by John Lennon and produced by Dolly. Lennon originally recorded the song for his 1971 album of the same name, taking his version to number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

Music video

​The music video for "Imagine" was directed by Paula Walker and filmed in New York City during the weekend of October 21–23 and features private home videos of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The video premiered on CMT's website on November 28 and made its television debut three days later on CMT Top 20 Countdown.
