"In the Sweet By and By" is a single by Dolly Parton featuring Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson, Jerry Salley, and Bradley Walker. It was released on August 13, 2021, by Billy Blue Records as a single from the Country Faith Bluegrass compilation album. The song was written by S. Fillmore Bennett and Joseph P. Webster in 1868. Dolly had previously record the song twice. The first was on Precious Memories in 1999 and again in Little Sparrow in 2001. This 2022 version is actually built around an alternate vocal take from the Precious Memories session. It was produced by Jerry Salley. The single won Gospel Recording of the Year and Collaborative Recording of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Awards.
