"Shine" is a single by Dolly Parton. It was released on July 9, 2001, by Sugar Hill Records as the fourth single from Dolly's thirty-eighth solo studio album, Little Sparrow. It was written by Ed Roland and produced by Steve Buckingham. The song was originally recorded by Collective Soul for their 1993 album, Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Music video
The single's music video was directed by Brent Hedgecock. It premiered on June 13, 2001, on CMT Most Wanted Live.
Accolades
"Shine" won Best Female Vocal Performance at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in 2002. The music video was nominated for Flameworthy Female Video of the Year at the 2002 CMT Music Awards (known as the CMT Flameworthy Video Music Awards at the time).
