"Silver Threads and Golden Needles" is a single by Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Loretta Lynn. It was released on November 8, 1993, by Columbia Records as the only single from the Honky Tonk Angels album. The song was written by Jack Rhodes and Dick Reynolds, and had first been recorded by Wanda Jackson in 1956. It was produced by Steve Buckingham and Dolly. The single peaked at number 68 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Critical reception
The single was reviewed in the November 20, 1993 issue of Cashbox magazine. The review said, "If you missed their performance of this classic tune on the CMA Awards show this year, don't fret. It can be found on Columbia's Honky Tonk Angels release, which features Dolly, Tammy, and Loretta at their best. "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" was written by Jack Rhodes & Dick Reynolds and interpreted uniquely by these beloved matriarchs of country music."
Commercial performance
"Silver Threads and Golden Needles" debuted at number 75 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart dated December 25, 1993. It peaked at number 68 on the chart dated January 15, 1994. These were the only two weeks the single charted.
