"Thank God I'm a Country Boy" is a single by Roy Rivers and Dolly Parton. It was released in February 2005 by AGR Television as a single from Rivers' album of the same name. It is a cover of a song written by John Sommers and first recorded by John Denver for his 1974 album, Back Home Again. Denver's version topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and the Billboard Hot 100. Rivers' version was produced by Kent Wells and Tony Smith.
