"Light of a Clear Blue Morning" is a single by Dolly Parton. It was released in May 2004 by Welk Music Group and Blue Eye Records as the second single from Dolly's fortieth solo studio album, For God and Country. It was written by Dolly, who also produced the track with Kent Wells and Tony Smith. Dolly originally recorded the song on her New Harvest...First Gathering album and released it as the first single in March 1977. She recorded the song a second time in 1992 for the Straight Talk soundtrack. It was released as the album's second single in June 1992.
