Dolly has been secretly working on new album for release later this year titled Smoky Mountain DNA. Her fiftieth solo studio album, it will include more than 30 songs featuring over 20 members of her family. The album release will coincide with a new docu-series detailing Dolly's Welsh ancestry. Segments of the docu-series are scheduled to be recorded next week in Knoxville in a string of shows on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The shows will feature Dolly alongside members of her family sharing stories and songs. The shows are free, but anyone wishing to attend must sign up through Audience 615. The Grass Is Blue is the thirty-seventh solo studio album by Dolly Parton. It was released on October 26, 1999, by Sugar Hill Records and Dolly's own Blue Eye Records. The first in Dolly's critically acclaimed bluegrass trilogy, it was produced by Steve Buckingham. It peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Two singles were released, "A Few Old Memories" and "Silver Dagger". The album won Best Bluegrass Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards.
