February 18, 2006: "Travelin’ Thru" is released as a single from the Transamerica soundtrack album. While the single failed to chart, it was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy. The Grass Is Blue is the thirty-seventh solo studio album by Dolly Parton. It was released on October 26, 1999, by Sugar Hill Records and Dolly's own Blue Eye Records. The first in Dolly's critically acclaimed bluegrass trilogy, it was produced by Steve Buckingham. It peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Two singles were released, "A Few Old Memories" and "Silver Dagger". The album won Best Bluegrass Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards.
