June 21, 1993: "Full Circle" is released as the third and final single from Dolly's thirty-second solo studio album, Slow Dancing with the Moon.

June 22, 1970: "Mule Skinner Blues (Blue Yodel No. 8)", a Jimmie Rogers cover, is released as a single. It peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, becoming Dolly's first top ten single. It would later be included on the 1970 compilation album, The Best of Dolly Parton.

June 23, 1969: "In the Ghetto" is released as the second single from Dolly's fourth solo studio album, My Blue Ridge Mountain Boy. The single peaked at number 50 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

June 23, 1980: "Old Flames Can’t Hold a Candle to You" is released as the second single from Dolly's twenty-second solo studio album, Dolly, Dolly, Dolly. It peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

June 24, 2003: Ray Benson released his debut solo album, Beyond Time. The album includes a duet with Dolly on "Leave That Cowboy Alone", a song the pair had written and performed together in the 1991 TV movie, Wild Texas Wind.

June 24, 2008: Tom Astor released his Alles klar - kein Problem! album. It features a dust with Dolly on a cover of the Parton-penned Emmylou Harris song, "To Daddy".

    Blue Smoke is the forty-fourth solo studio album by Dolly Parton. It was released by Dolly Records and Sony Masterworks on January 31, 2014, in Australia and New Zealand; May 13, 2024, in North America; and June 9, 2014, in Europe. The release was staggered to coincide with each leg of the Blue Smoke Tour, which ran from January to July 2014, grossing over $20 million. The album was produced by Kent Wells with Dolly serving as executive producer. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number six on the all-genre Billboard 200. Four singles were released from the album: "Blue Smoke", "Home", "Try", and "Unlikely Angel". At the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, "You Can't Make Old Friends" was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

    Administrator

    Ben Childers is the administrator of The Dolly Parton Discography. A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, he grew up taking family vacations to the Smokies and Dollywood. His love for Dolly and her music reached a fanatical level in April 2013. After spending countless hours researching and cataloging Dolly's musical output, he decided to open a website dedicated to her discography. His dream of meeting Dolly came true on May 23, 2024.
