February 27, 1978: "Two Doors Down" and "It's All Wrong, But It's All Right" are released as a double A-side single from Dolly's Here You Come Again album. "Two Doors Down" was aimed at pop radio, while "It's All Wrong, But It's All Right" was aimed at country. "Two Doors Down" peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "It's All Wrong, But It's All Right" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. "Two Doors Down" was re-recorded for the single release. This more up-beat, pop version of the song replaced the original version on all subsequent pressings of the album and is the version included on almost all compilation albums.

March 2, 1987: Dolly, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt release the Trio album. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and was certified Platinum by the RIAA for shipment of more the one million copies. The album won Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 30th Annual Grammy Awards in addition to being nominated for Album of the Year. "Telling Me Lies" was also nominated for Best Country Song. ​

March 3, 1980: "Starting Over Again" is released as the first single from Dolly's twenty-second solo studio album, Dolly, Dolly, Dolly. The single peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

March 4, 2022: Dolly released her forty-eighth solo studio album, Run, Rose, Run. A companion album to the novel of the same name (co-written by Dolly and James Patterson), it peaked at number four on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The same day, "Woman Up (And Take It Like a Man)" was released as the album's third and final single.
